Fairlyland Blossoms
It was a chilly evening in November. My oldest son's girlfriend, who worked at a holiday merchandise warehouse, brought me some overflow items she had been given. She was correct in thinking I would like them - both were ornaments: One a glittering fairy with a crown, and the other, her ready helper, a little woodland elf with a leaf for a hat.
Those little gifts meant a lot to me and they hung
on a tack near my desk for about a month before
I decided to extend their existence to the digital realm.
Now they live in Fairyland in the midst of flowers, sunny-day clouds, drinking rainwater tea, and with their Elf assistants, pleased to grant the good wishes of all who wish for good things.
And that nice girlfriend of my son? She is now my daughter in law. Which if the fairy's were actually flittering around in our world, would have approved of that happy union and the day they wed, as I certainly do.
Let's grant all
the good wishes!
