It was a decent job when I worked for the county that I live in.  Nice co-workers. One of my co-workers was a trainer and in her training area cubicle, she showcased the latest art projects that her son Sean had been making in his elementary school class. 

Every time I was in the training room, I became increasingly interested in those simple, graphic, and endearing crafts done by her son, more so than I was with what was being taught - as an artist, it was not my fault. 
I saw possibilities.  I had a vision that would not subside!

I maintained that someday, with my friend's permission,
I would recreate them into vectors and stylize them, giving each character a little world of their own to live in. 
And so I did, and here they are.
